Thor and Peter are the owners of I Know A Guy. Together with their apprentice Anthony, they have over 40 years experience servicing small engines. What began 6 years ago as two friends who met working for a large corporation has grown in the last 3 years into a recognizable business located in Midland. I Know A Guy prides itself on providing outstanding customer service and standing behind the work we do, like only a small business can do. Folks around town have grown to trust and depend on the fact that we offer no nonsense honest work. When your equipment is serviced by I Know A Guy customers know for certainty they are only getting service they need.

Thor can be found in the back shop working and training our apprentice Anthony and our shop dog Bruce. Supporting local businesses like ours is helping to build a future for younger members of the community. Anthony is moving into a small engine apprenticeship program and is hopeful to one day take over as head mechanic for I Know A Guy. Without the support of the local community this would not be possible. Every dollar spent at a local small business goes much further than a dollar spent at a big box store.
